What you should know about Corey Allen:
How did you first connect with Bristola, and what made you take a chance on a startup?
While working for an anaerobic digestion renewable natural gas company, I hired Bristola to clean a plug flow digester with the ROV. I was so impressed with the technology that I decided to come work for them. The value the system brings to operations, especially the safety benefits of a no-entry cleaning process, really stood out to me.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I start my mornings early so I can stay ahead of emails and keep projects moving. My days usually include meetings with our sales team, customers and operations. I am always developing strategies, refining processes and finding ways to improve how we reach new markets. There is always something new to learn and someone new to connect with.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Seeing growth in both sales and processes. Every deal and project shows how far we have come and pushes us to keep getting better. Watching that progress in real time keeps me motivated.
What’s one project that stands out to you?
My first project at Bristola stands out because it came quickly and tested me right away. I did not yet know all of our internal processes from start to finish, but it taught me where we were strong and where I could help us grow.
How would you describe the culture at Bristola?
It is a get-it-done kind of place. We move fast, adapt quickly and make decisions without layers of red tape. Everyone has the freedom to own their work, which pushes us to do our best every day.
What’s it like working with Jared?
It is great. Jared is hands-on and invested in every part of the business. He is the subject expert, and having that kind of knowledge and involvement at the top gives me confidence and direction when making decisions.
What do you see for the future of Bristola?
I see continued growth in the industries we serve and in how people view automation. As more companies focus on safety and efficiency, the demand for ROV and robotic cleaning will increase. Bristola is in a strong position to lead that change.
